A warm and welcoming community, GMercyU will quickly feel like your home away from home. Here’s how to make the most of your GMercyU experience as a commuter.

Where to Meet Fellow Griffins

Beyond the classroom, getting involved is the best way to make lifelong friendships at GMercyU. Here are a few popular ways to do just that.

Clubs & Organizations — Don't be afraid to get involved! Our numerous clubs and organizations are designed to fit into your schedule wether you are a commuter or resident.

Athletics — Show your Griffin Pride by supporting one of our 17 DIII teams!

Community Service — Service is at the heart of the Mercy experience that GMercyU offers. Explore your options!

Intramurals and Recreation — Not part of a sports team but still want to stay involved? Join one of our intramural sports or take advantage of our recreation facilities located in The Griffin Complex.

Leadership Programs — Want to be a leader? Grow your leadership skills by joining one our our Leadership Programs.

You become so close with the people here. I thought as a commuter I might not have those strong connections with my professors and other students but we developed such a close-knit community.
